CRS Portal app for iPhone and iPad

This app is the mobile component of the CRS Portal solution. Usage of this app requires access to the server side component of the CRS Portal solution also.

Key functions

1. Home screen
Hosts the account selector which provides a selection option from different accounts setup previously on the settings tab. If internet connection is available, data synchronisation takes place in the background right after the account selection. The activity spinner is displayed during the synchronisation. Only the modified reports and KPIs are loaded to the device resulting in a summary notification on any significant actions (like new files or periods downloaded or communication errors if any).

2. Tab bar
The tab bar helps you selecting the main feature you wish to use (reports, KPIs, favourites or settings) and available after account selection.

3. Additional information
On most of the screens, the iOS-standard info button is displayed which on touch provides the most relevant information to the screen displayed.

4. Period selection
When the tab bar is displayed, the period is always visible at the top of the screen of your device. Tap on the period to change it. On the standard report and KPI list tabs, only the reports are displayed which exist in the selected period, but the favourites lists contain all the previously selected reports and KPIs even if those do not exist in the selected period. In this case, those are greyed out.

5. Favorites management
The list of favourites is divided by type into reports and KPIs groups. To add a new report to your favourites, navigate to the standard (not the favourites) report tab and tap on the star icon at the right side of the table cell you wish to mark as a favourite item. The same technique applies to KPIs. On the favourite item tabs, touching the pencil item makes the lists editable and draggable for sorting purposes.

6. Reports and KPIs
To view a report or KPI, tap on the item in the list (anywhere but the star icon). Touching the report displays that it full screen on your device. To unhide the navigation bar, touch the screen again. Navigation between a list of items (reports or KPIs) is possible in several ways if an item is already displayed:
- using the back button to return to the list of items and select a new one;
- touching the list icon and select another one from the list;
- or simple drag the report or KPI to the right or to the left. You might end up getting stuck on one side meaning the beginning or the end of the list is reached.

7. Settings tab
The app is shipped with the "Default" account predefined which cannot be deleted or modified and is greyed out. Tap the add account feature to add a new account. Ask for the details of the account by your in-house technical team.
